I thought it was a thylacine too - or some sort of prehistoric beastie. It's beautiful!

Yeah maybe that's why I like him so much! I should draw a thylacine again (well actually just prehistoric mammals I need to draw more!)

Wow! This is brilliant! I absolutely love him! :hug: There's just something about his overall body here that makes him look so cute, he almost reminds me of a meerkat for some reason! :lol: I adore the color tones you've used, and the soft natural background sets such a nice mood for the whole piece! And of course I just love that feathery tail. Thanks so much! :glomp: I should have yours done possibly in a few days. Were we going to send originals? :)

Aww you're right, he does look a bit like a meerkat! I guess it's because I draw my wolves on the skinny side and the long straight tailfeathers look a bit like a meerkat's tail.
LOL I just realised that the tones are similar to your icon - that was totally subconscious as I had saved the refs and painted it when offline XDD
Yep, we were going to trade originals. If you get your half done in the next week please note me with your address so I can send it. I'll be stuck at the vet school (I mean that literally, we aren't allowed to leave the site for 7 days) from 14th-21st June so won't be able to send it then, but before or after is fine.
